SAFETY WARNING

Our boats are registered with the Jamaican Maritime Authority and Licenced by the Jamaican Tourist Authority. This means that they must undergo strict annual safety inspections conducted by the Maritime Authority. In addition they are insured by Lloyds of London for commercial charters with passenger liability of US $2,000,000.00

BEWARE there are many illegal unlicenced operators in Jamaica. Their vessels have not udergone any government safety inspections and they almost never have insurance cover for their passengers. For your own safety please check that any boat you charter is properly government licenced and insured. They may be a few dollars cheaper because their owners don't pay the substantial insurance premiums and safety compliance costs, but if things go wrong (which they often do with unlicenced operators) you may regret choosing the cut price option
